The IAM works in partnership with the National College for School Leadership to offer the following qualifications:
- IAM Level 4 Diploma in School Business Management (CSBM programme)
- IAM Level 5 Diploma in School Business Management (DBSM programme)
- IAM Level 6 Diploma in School Business Management (ADSBM programme)
The National College exists to help to make a difference to the lives and the life chances of children and young people through the development of world-class school leaders.
The role of the School Business Manager is now widely recognised as being key to helping schools to make better use of their resources and facilities and to enable staff to find greater satisfaction in their work, through a renewed focus on teaching and learning. School Business Managers have a vital leadership role in this new culture for schools, in which creative thinking and influencing skills are as important as technical mastery of finance and administration systems.
The programme is delivered by three delivery partners: Anglia Ruskin University, Serco Adfecto partnership and Serco Teesside University partnership. The Institute of Administrative Management (IAM) work with the School Business Management (SBM) team to provide validation of the CSBM, DSBM and ADSBM programmes.
