Student Information
Choosing an accredited centre
Individuals may study for an IAM qualification by attending education institutions, private-training organisations, and training centres or by tuition supported open learning.
Centres who provide tuition leading to the IAM 's Certificate, Diploma and / or Advanced Diploma examinations, are included in the Tuition Providers Listings which can be found into this page. The modes of study, courses and services offered will vary from centre to centre (as will the tuition fees). Students are therefore advised to contact the centre of their choice for further information.
Inclusion within the Tuition Providers List does not indicate any kind of formal accreditation by the IAM except where indicated. Every IAM Accredited Centre has met the required criteria and satisfied the IAM that its tutorial staff, its learning resources and its quality systems comply with our quality standards.
Inclusion in the List does not guarantee that any programme will run, as this will depend on local market demand and other circumstances. The IAM will ensure as far as possible that the information contained within the Tuition Providers List is as accurate and as up-to-date as possible.
Some students choose to prepare for IAM examinations by studying as an independent student, with no support from a tuition centre. The IAM does not recommend such a learning strategy because there is evidence to suggest that the quality of learning is greatly enhanced by tutor and peer group support, at this level.
