iam Study Guides
The iam produces study guides for the Introductory Award, Certificate, Diploma and the advanced Diploma in Administrative Management to supplement tuition and provide a framework for independent study.
The Introductory award and Certificate study guides are free to download and can be found at the bottom of this page. The Diploma and Advanced Diploma study guides are free to all students on registration and will be sent directly to the centre of study or directly to the student for independent students.
The guides contain background information to each unit and activities that help students to reflect on the subject. The iam and Accredited Centres strongly recommended that students buy the guides in order to support their studies. More information on the guides is available on the iam website.
The Study Guides have received very positive feedback from both students and centres.
Ladi Tokosi, Goldsmith IBS: “Thank you for the new study texts sent to Goldsmith IBS. I wish to express my personal gratitude and congratulate the iam on these very lovely and well-presented texts. I wish to state that I am really proud to be working with the iam at this exciting time in the development of the qualification”.
Paulette Lindley, Personnel Administrator for Bakers Oven Midlands (part of Greggs Plc), Nottingham, is an iam Member and student of the Advanced Diploma, she says, “The layout of the manual is good and easy to work with. I’ve used the margins of the copies to write any book references in. putting in activities is a very good idea, as it encourages you to relate what you are studying to the workplace. It has also encouraged me to involve work colleagues to answer questions that I have.”
