To avoid conflict with the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, this year’s Centre Conference will be held earlier then usual on Friday 27th April 2012 at DeVere Canary Wharf in east London.
Following on from last year’s successful event, the agenda for this year’s conference will cover a wide range of centre-related issues. Topics to be discussed include teaching methods, the current political environment, QCF qualifications, IAM centre support, changes within the education sector and emerging opportunities.
Attendance is free of charge, and we strongly recommend all UK centres to send at least one representative, especially those recently accredited with the IAM. With over 100 centres represented, the conference provides a good networking opportunity and enables your centre to stay abreast with all the key developments within the sector. Please be advised that a non-attendance fee of £95 per delegate will be charged to centres which reserve delegate places and do not attend the event.
The IAM is also inviting centres to submit topics for discussion in advance. This allows us to tailor the agenda to the specific needs of centres, ensuring all areas of concern are addressed.
You can reserve places at the event for your centre by sending a completed booking form to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . We recommend that you return your booking as soon as possible to guarantee your reservation. Space has been provided on the booking form for discussion topics or questions to be submitted in advance.
A detailed agenda will be provided in future Centre Briefs, and emailed to attending delegates closer to the date.
