Online networking communities

Another service offered to members is a selection of online networking opportunities. Internet networking is becoming nearly as popular as the good old 'face-to-face' meeting up occasion and it works anywhere across the globe.

As with all online networking communities, you will be invited to join us online to talk to other members, make contacts, share best practice, discuss issues and problems and share career queries. There will be a number of different online networking communities for our various types of membership:

  • Fellows of the Institute

  • School Business Managers

  • Students (currently studying to sit for iam qualifications)

Please let us know if you would like any other online communities and check this site for the February launch of this new service.

Please ensure that we have your correct email address by logging in to the member's area.

Networking events

Our face to face networking events are designed to:

  • Allow you to share experiences with like-minded colleagues in similar roles

  • Meet managers and people from different sectors of industry or the public sector

  • Talk to professionals from all over the UK, and make contacts that might benefit you in the future.

New events are scheduled throughout the year. Click here to be taken to the Events section of the website.
