Where recognition has been given to an external programme, the awarding organisation will have achieved iam Accredited Centre Status. Under this quality assurance umbrella, the iam works in partnership with the organisation to map the discipline-related programmes against the iam's range of professional management courses in administrative management.
Recognition varies from organisation to organisation dependent upon many factors including the level of the qualification submitted, course content and assessment methodology.

NCSL
The iam works in partnership with the The National College for School Leadership (NCSL) to offer the dual awards of the Certificate of School Business Management (CSBM) together with the iam's Level 4 Diploma in Administative Management (DSBM) and the Diploma of School Business Management together with the iam's Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Administrative Management.

We have long stated our aim to raise the profile of administrators at every level and our desire to represent our field in the eyes of government, in the UK and across the world.
Guernsey Business School
The iam International Diploma in Financial Administration programme has been developed by the Guernsey Business School (GBS) and the Isle of Man College (IOMC) to meet an identified need to train administrators dealing with the administration of Trusts and working in the back offices of offshore financial services companies - targeted initially on the offshore services industry in Guernsey and the Isle of Man.

The School of Educational Administration campaigns continually for improvements that will lead to the work of school administrators being more effective.
HM Armed Forces
The iam provides all Service Personnel with the chance to gain academic recognition for their in-service training as well as the opportunity to continue their career development on leaving the service.

MDP and Oxford Brookes University
The Institute is delighted that Oxford Brookes University, in collaboration with the iam and Management Development Partnership, offers the BA (Honours) Strategic Administrative Management programme - a dedicated progression route at degree level, to holders of the iam's Advanced Diploma.
Open University
In collaboration with the iam, the Open University provide a growing number of tailor-made, short online courses, ideal for members’ CPD requirements. Working with the OU, the iam has negotiated a special discount of 10% off for these courses, for all members.
South African Government
Along with our partners at NCSL, and Manchester Metropolitan University, the iam is working with the Education Department of the Western Cape, on a programme to support the development of school business managers.
University of South Australia
As an international organisation, we are proud to have partners across the globe, working with us on the development of the profession of administrative management. The iam has a special arrangement with the University of South Australia , for students on the Bachelor of Business (Administrative Management) (BBus) programme.
