Jenny Hewell, iam chief executive, is delighted to announce the appointment of Anna Lemmon as Director of Education at the iam. Anna will be heading up the iam awarding body and plans to evaluate the existing provision and modernise both the business and the qualification offer.
Anna joins us from the Council for Administration where she has been their Policy Advisor over the past year. Previously she worked at the QCA (Qualifications and Curriculum Authority), most recently as Principal Officer for Business Education. This role involved leading on the development of qualification criteria and the accreditation of qualifications. In previous QCA roles she worked on awarding body recognition and regulation processes.
Anna’s specialism lies in 11-19 education where she has teaching and management experience in schools and colleges across the UK and in Europe. Anna has taught and delivered both academic and vocational courses and has written a wide range of training materials.
