Fellow members, throughout the year I will be making a number of changes at the iam. As you'll know from our previous edition this work began in October. All the team have now moved into new office facilities in Graphite Square , London and the two old iam buildings in Petts Wood and Caroline House have been closed.
Since the move we've been extremely busy rebranding and launching the new website. Thank you for the positive feedback I've had from a many of you about both these activities which I'm sure you'll be interested to know were created and delivered in house. Our internal systems are also undergoing an overhaul. Auditors have been working with the team to build a new chart of accounts and I am waiting to take delivery of a brand new IT system as I write.
During the next couple of months the iam team will be focusing on a review of awarding body activities and later in the year I will also be reviewing professional body activities.
I think you will understand that this is a large programme of work that will take us through the majority of 2008. I am confident that the net result will be an improved service to all members.
