The School of Educational Administration works to promote the interests of school administrators throughout the UK. We have received funding from the DTI in order to launch the SEA and to create the iam Certificate in Educational Administration, a one-year distance learning course at Level 3. Some students who have completed the course have moved on to courses for bursars at the National College of School Leadership.
The School of Educational Administration campaigns continually for improvements that will lead to the work of school administrators being more effective. Recent campaigns have included the School Web Site Project and the School Efficiency Project. The latter, which forms part of the Certificate course, but is available to administrators who are not students of the course, is detailed in full on the Oxford Open Learning site.
