The requirements of professional administrators are evolving and your Institute has a responsibility to ensure we continue to provide education designed, to support all practitioners. We must also further widen our role as the leading Institute for anyone working in the field of administration. We have long stated our aim to raise the profile of administrators at every level and our desire to represent our field in the eyes of government, in the UK and across the world.

In August 2007, the iam and the CfA formed a strategic partnership which will help us to achieve all of the above and more.

The CfA is the National Standards Setting body for Administration and Governance skills in the UK . It is responsible for designing National Occupational Standards, vocational qualifications and learning frameworks for the five million Administrators in the UK .
